List view article is one of the ways in which to achieve access to perform storage transactions.

Click on the black plus button. Only available to users who have ‘TR’ access in access control.

Details: Check off for this if the storage transaction should be posted specifically with cost carriers such as project, asset, department, account, objective and/or carrier.

Depending on what authorisation you have, the following transactions can be performed:

Withdrawal: Withdrawal direct (with or without cost carriers) or against planned or history work order. For withdrawals against work orders/history work orders, the parts will automatically populate the parts list and will be shown as picked (taken out). Note: Withdrawals against work orders can also be performed from the article within the planned or history work order in edit mode.

  • WO - Enter the applicable work order number for the planned job or history job.

  • New work orders - to simultaneously create new work orders in connection with the withdrawal. When the work order is saved, the job number will be shown in the WO field so that multiple withdrawals can be performed directly.

  • My WO: Separate drop-down menu that only filters out work orders from ‘My work orders’.

Deposit: Deposits without a purchase order with associated goods receipt. The default is for the inventory and location to be shown in the inventory directory, but a different inventory and storage location (shelf location) can be selected.

Adjust stock +/-: Adjusting stock using plus or minus. Remember that you can create stocktakes to adjust stocks via counting in the inventory. For details, see separate description regarding stocktakes.

Note: When transactions of the type 'Deposit' or 'Adjustment +/-' are run on fixed stock catalogs, the system will automatically set location processing to 'Floating' to avoid problems with adding an item to a new location when counting, receiving etc.
After the transaction has been run, the location processing in the inventory directory changes back to ‘Fast’. If the item after the transaction is left with two locations in the inventory table, the stock catalog will be left with 'Floating' location processing.

Move: Moving the entire stock or parts of it to another inventory. Indicate To inventory and Storage location. If the entire stock is to be moved, and you would like to delete the old inventory directory, check off for ‘Delete inventory directory’. If the article is connected to work orders, the inventory and location of the article will also be updated if it has not already been picked from the inventory.

Return: Excess parts that have been taken out against a work order can be returned against the work order. The transaction will be a withdrawal transaction with a minus sign. Note: Returns can also be performed directly in the work order.

There is also:

Link to WO: Via this, you can link/plan parts against work orders or history work orders without performing any transactions from this screen.

Date field: Shows the time that the transaction was performed. The time can be overwritten here.
