Installation process

1. Turn on the device

  


2. Read the device’s QR code with EG Inventory


3. Install the device


For the installation you need:

  • Optimaze Inventory app in your mobile phone

  • Access to Optimaze Portal

  • Tools for the installation e.g.:

    • Ladder

    • Drill

    • Screws

    • Double-sided tape

Best practices for installing indoor air quality devices

  • Place the device in a central location to approx. 1.2m – 1.8m height

  • Avoid placing the sensor to close proximity of windows

  • Most of CO₂ indoors is produced by breathing, the device should not be placed too close to humans

  • Air conditioning, height & volume of the space affect the sensor device

Installation


1. Scan the QR code or enter the sensor ID manually with EG Inventory

2. Switch the device on sliding the power switch to position “1”

3. Install the wall plate to the wall using screws suitable for the wall material. Please note the orientation!

Avoid placing device closer than 15cm on any metal or magnetic object, electric cables, electric devices or selective glass as this will dramatically reduce radio performance as well as battery life of the device.

4. Attach the device to the wall having the pins meeting installation holes in the device. Please note the orientation!
