With EG Inventory, it is easy to find sensors that are not working correctly. This can happen because of an incorrect sensor ID or because the device battery is empty, for example.
Viewing the status of a single device from the floor plan
Navigate to the floor you are interested in
Status of each sensor is shown in the circle with color
Yellow– the sensor has not yet sent any data to the service
Red – the sensor has not sent data within the last 24 hours
Green – the sensor has sent data within the last 24 hours
If a capacity object has more than one sensor, red and yellow color have higher priority than green
The number of sensors in the same location is indicated with the number inside the circle
Tap the circle to learn more about the sensor
The bottom sheet that opens will show a list of all sensors in that location and the status of each sensor device
Pending – the sensor has not yet sent any data to the service
Offline – the sensor has not sent data within the last 24 hours
Online – the sensor has sent data within the last 24 hours
For each sensor, the following information is shown
Sensor ID
How long ago the sensor sent status information
What type of data the sensor provides
For sensors that are online: the last sensor reading
Checking the status of all devices in the floor
Navigate to the floor you are interested in
Tap the floor name heading at the top of the floor plan view
The list of all sensors in the floor will show the status of each sensor device. The sensors that need attention are listed first.
Pending – the sensor has not yet sent any data to the service
Offline – the sensor has not sent data within the last 24 hours
Online – the sensor has sent data within the last 24 hours
For each sensor, the following information is shown
Sensor ID
How long ago the sensor sent status information
What type of data the sensor provides
For sensors that are online: the last sensor reading
To see the sensor's location on the floor, tap the list item you are interested in
