You can get to the system/asset structure via the menu option Asset -> Structure. This gives you access to the structure/assets, with a range of search and filter options.
Using the Asset -> List menu option brings up a view of the assets in a flat structure below the asset you are working on.
You can switch view (structure/list) from either view using this button. This shows the button for switching to list.

You can add new assets using the plus button below the desired level in the structure.
The ‘Attached to’ column (must be entered via the user’s profile) displays a summary (icons) of what is attached directly at the displayed level or subordinate level in the structure. Click directly on the icons to obtain information.

The ‘Search Asset’ field gives you the option to perform a search on only part of an asset number or name, as well as to limit the search in the selected structure. The number of hits is shown in red figures, and the hits are shown in the ‘Select an Asset’ field.

Free text searches for searches in fields such as Asset Number, Asset Name, Description, Serial Number, Model etc. can be performed in the search field at the top.
