The document module in Landax is supported by WebDAV. Document management over WebDAV makes it possible to With WebDAV you can open and edit documents without intermediate storage on your computer. When saving, your changes are saved directly to the system and the document is updated immediately and available to others.
The document is locked to prevent editing as only one person at a time can work in edit mode. Therefore, the document should be saved and closed when editing is complete. However, it is still possible for other users to download and open the document in read-only view.A function in the Office package allows multiple people to edit a document simultaneously. If multiple users make changes and save the document, the changes are merged.
Document management over WebDAV can be enabled and disabled in the control panel. File deletion is disabled by default in WebDAV, but this can be changed in the control panel. We do not recommend doing this.
