2. To create a new type, click Create a new type.

Info: The number before the name of the non-conformance type controls the order in which the types are displayed. If the types do not have numbers, they are displayed in alphabetical order. To create a subtype, click Image Removed.


3. Select settings and enter a name, description and standard closing deadline for the non-conformance type. Click Save and close form when you have finished.

4. To edit an existing type, click Image Removed Image Added .

5. Make the desired changes, then click Save and close form.

Tip

Tip: If you are going to make extensive changes to the structure and have a lot of registered non-conformances, it is recommended to make the types inactive. If you want to make minor changes such as changes to the wording, but the purpose of the type is to remain the same, edit the type rather than creating a new one.

The order of the types is displayed alphabetically in the list. To control the order in which the non-conformance types appear, place a number before the name. If there are to be more than 9 non-conformance types, use 01 so that the order is correct.
