In most modules, it is possible to edit metadata for multiple records simultaneously. This page shows an example of explains how this can be is done in the nonconformity module, but the principle is the same throughout the non-conformance module. The same approach is used across the entire system.

Note:What can be multi-edited varies from module to module. Plain text fields cannot normally be multi-edited.The When performing multi-editing, the system's default field name is displayed when multi-editing, so if you have defined separate field names, they may look different names are displayed. 1. Select the records to be edited and click Edit.
2. To unlock a field for editing, check the box to the left of the field. Edit the information and click Save and close form.
