You must have an Administrator permission in role in EG Worksense to share floors with other companies and the feature must be included in your company's EG Worksense package |
You can share a floor with another company using Worksense. All users of the receiving Worksense company have access to the shared floor and they can access to the floor with the same features and permissions as the company sharing the floor.
Share a floor
Sharing a floor is done by creating a single-use code, which is redeemed by the administrator of another company. The same floor can be shared several times by creating multiple singe-use codes.
Log in to EG Worksense on your web browser
Go to Administration and click Floor sharing
- Select the building and floor you want to share.
Click Share floor
- A new section Share Codes appears. Copy the Share Code for the floor you just shared, and share it for the receiving company.
- Once the receiving company has redeemed the share code, the building, floor and name of the receiving company appear on the Shared floors list
Remove access to a floor from the other company
The company that shared the floor can delete the code, so the floor will disappear from the company that redeemed it.
