A product can consist of multiple components. The components are can be registered as products and linked to the products they are part of. The components linked to a product are displayed under the the Components tab .
To connect
The Components tab lists all components that make up the product and that have been added to the product.
Categories can be used in the product register to distinguish and sort the various product categories. The components have category Ingredients and Wholemeal bread has category Products. The ingredients make up the sales product Wholemeal bread.

1. Create the components by registering a new productproducts.

2. Go to the the Components tab and click Add new component to link a new component.
3. Select a the product to be added as a component, enter adjust the quantity if required, then and click Save and close the form.

Notes can be added for components. These may include information for users or other data that needs to be documented.
