Text

Fill in the content in the text field. Click the down arrow to edit the design of the text in the box.

Tip

Tip: To edit the design appearance of the header in the box, use[[Caption]] and edit in it the same way as with the text. The subprocess in the box will be displayed as a link when you use [[Caption]].

You can enter a description at the bottom of the box. For example, there may be a further explanation for an activity in the flowchart.The field can be used to add a detailed description of the activity.

To view the description when you are not in edit modein the flowchart, move the mouse over the box and hover the mouse over Image Removedit over Description.

Layout

Select the position of the text in the box in the Text wrap fields, whether there are 'Text flow' fields. You can also choose whether there should be arrows on the lines between the boxes, or and whether the box should have a header. Selecting an image allows you to add an image as a background in the box.

Designing a box

The icons Image Removed can Image Added can be found at the top of the window. These options are used to design the box.

Background colour

Click Image Removed to Image Added to edit the background colour for the box.

Drag the circles in the colour palette to define the colour of the box. The colour code is located in the field under the colour palette. When you have selected the colour, click Set colour Save.

Tip

Tip: If you have to have want the same colour code for several boxes or lines, you can copy the colour code and paste it into the field when editing other boxes.

Frame

To define the colour, thickness and style of the frame for the box, click Image Removed.

Do the same as for background colourImage Added. Drag the circles in the colour palette or type the colour code and click Set colour.to define a colour and select style and thickness for the box. Click Save when you are finished.

Lines

To change the colour, To define the thickness and style of the frame for lines from the box, click Image Removed.

click Image Added. Drag the circles in the colour palette to define a colour and select style and thickness for the lines. Click Save when you are finished.

Image AddedSelect alternatives, then click OK.

Shape

You can change the shape of the box by clicking Image Removed.

Set clicking Image Added . Change the shape by clicking the shape that you want to use.

Tip

Tip: Moving Hovering the mouse over the box and to the Image Removed Image Added icon takes you to a shortcut at the bottom of the menu where you can edit the box's background colour, shape, lines and frame.
