Converting to alternative units in general batch applications

It is now possible to make automatic conversion to alternative units in general batch applications when using field type 99 and field controls returning value by use of *DATA result. This makes it easy to add columns with quantities in alternative units in these kind of applications.

Cost price specification

It is now possible to generate and save specifications of cost price calculations. A new switch on system parameter Standard Cost Setting - Optimisation Parameters(KOSTPRIS) can specify whether specifications should be made. 

The specifications can be accessed as a sub level for cost prices of different types. It is also possible to compare specifications of calculated prices for an item.

A new price type "Predictive prices" are now available. It can be used to save more sets of calculations to give a foundation for at better understanding of evolution of cost price changes over time.

Print HS Code on external documents

HS code option in system parameter Countries(LAND) has been added for the below document types where if we enable the HS code it will show the HS code in sales documents for the particular item based on item and country.

   Order confirmation
   Delivery notes
   Invoice

Document Product Structure

For documenting the product structure of an Item, new classical batch application 9224 has been created.

This application will accept the Item number, Status and Date as parameters and will document the product structure in a file called CONSTBL. Details in the file will be sent to external system.  Along with the file, minimum details will be written to the print file.

Help for financial postings

Help for financial postings has previously been displayed in a browser as simple html-documents. It has now been changed so that they will be displayed the same way as other Aspect4 Help documents. A major change is that the 2 PC-paths HA and HM in application PC-paths (9187) are no longer used.

Extionsion to crosspad apps

Added support for using views in apps.

Added support for making 2 lists on tablets for apps.

Added support for camera and signature in apps.

Colours didn't work if not spelled out in COLOR system parameter. COLOR redistributed.

A dump occurred during editing of Field Control when it contains DATETOSTR.

Some files appeared as "*NOT FOUND" in Files(9165)

Some non Logistics files apeared as "*NOT FOUND" in the member name. It caused some counfusion as the file was there but the logic could not find the source file. Now only files that realy are not present will be presented as "*NOT FOUND".

Program dump after calling applications in another company

If there is a functionality in application to call an application in another company, we sometimes faced a program dump after return and calling other applications from the primary application. It could be the case when the applications use some common programs. This is now handled correctly. 

Length is sometimes set incorrectly after updating a field in Field Definions for Batch Appl(9170)

For A8254P all fields are defined as non packed but with a proper type. Upon editing one of these fields the length field were updated as if it was a packed field. This is not done anymore.

Not possible to create or maintain ingoing item with status 80 on a production model
This has now been corrected for the purpose of consuming rest of the stock holding for an item. Production orders did not have this issue.

Freight Rates(6120)
If the file (FRSATBL) was empty, it could cause a program dump when creating the first record. This has now been corrected and it is now possible to create the first line in the application.

Application Print service agreement(6401).

Data are read directly via GENREG file in the program. This should be changed so that data are fetched via the general program ZGETGENREG as setup via Group/Company is then respected.

Break down when entering points in period fields

Periods in Company calender(9175) are shown with a point (e.g 07.24). But if you enter a point in a period field, the application broke down.

Invoice receipt and matched lines(7769)

If a line from goods receipt has been selected in the match-process and a line in the resulting journal is deleted the the matched line is not put back again to unmatched. This has now been changed so that lines are put back again if either the journal, the voucher or the line is deleted.

Missing position after F4 from a positioning field

Sometimes the called list when pressing F4 from a positioning field in a list resulted in a list with no position to a relevant place. This has now been improved. 

Documentation picking for production

Application help in English was not delivered when the business logic was deployed. This has now been resolved.

Application help packaging statistics (9110) in English

The application help was not deployed in the first solution. This issue has now been resolved.

Calc. Packaging Consump. Sales Item

Items without Freight group in system parameter VAREFRAG is now handled correct.

Chinese letters displayed

If Field definition(STFE) refers to an F4 application to get the text it sometimes showed chinese letters instead of the normal asterics when the text could not be found.

Focus changes to item number in orderlines after tabulating to Text Type

When an order line is created and tabulating through the fields the focus was suddently changed to the item number field after reaching the text type for supplementary texts.  

Field Control Identity GETVARENS

A new field control id, GETVARENS has been established. GETVARENS is like GETVARE but without serverside filtering support, means it would be a little slower when filtering on a field with the new field control. GETVARENS can be used the same way as is known from GETVARE.

GETVARE cannot be used on files with more than one format. An example is MATPREG used in application Material Profile (9301). In such a case GETVARENS can be used instead. In all other cases GETVARE should still be used.

Break down when entering points in period fields

Calculate packaging usage (9264).

When calculating for an item without a production model the application could crash. This has now been resolved.

Copy production model lines.

When we try to copy a material resouce line from Production Models (9121) the program could crash. Changes did as part of this Jira issue resolves this issue and we are now able to copy resource line properly.

Select voucher in Invoice Match(7769) reported error

After selecting a voucher to the current journal an error was reported.

Tip is not displayed in cockpit related to receipt of invoices

If notes have been added to a voucher in the cockpit for receipt of invoices the notes are not displayed in the tip-field if this field is visible in the list panel.

The reason was due to a changed file used in the cockpit. This has now been changed so that tips can again be displayed.

ASPECT4 Foundation release Y25H1 need to be installed.

ASPECT4 Logistics release Y24Q4 need to be installed.

The above conditions can be investigated via application 0361 'Display of system level information'.

Sign-on and receive the forwarded shipment via application 0590 ‘Install ASPECT4 software’.

After receive sign-off.

Before installation all automatic jobs shall be stopped (e.g. appl. 9272, 8262).

Sign-on and run application 0690 ’Conversion runs’ - need to be done in all companies.

After converting sign-off.

Any additional language packets received for ASPECT4 Logistics are installed.

Any additional program shipments received with special software for ASPECT4 Logistics will be installed.

The system is now ready for use with ASPECT4 Logistics Release Y25H1.
