Risk and opportunity values are calculated by multiplying probability and consequence. Each consequence multiplied by probability has its own value. The matrix in the chart view, as well as the colours and description assigned to the risk and opportunity values, are configured in the value sets. A value set can be configured to analyse/ use both risk and opportunities on the same event. If separate analysis for risk and opportunities is preferred, two different value sets can be created.

Tip

Tip: If you have already configured a value set for a consequence and probability set, you can use Copy values from to apply the same setup to the selected consequence and probability set.

6. In the example provided on this page, a consequence value of 0 multiplied by a probability value of 0 results in 0, which is not considered a risk, and is therefore assigned the colour light green. Click Save and close form when you are finished.

Tip: If you check the option to edit all with the same risk number, the setting will apply to all with the same risk value across all consequence sets.

6. In the example provided on this page, a consequence value of 0 multiplied by a probability value of 0 results in 0, which does not grant any opportunities, and is therefore assigned the colour extra light blue. Click Save and close form when you are finished.
