A product can consist of multiple components. The components are registered as products and linked to the products they are part of. The components linked to a product are displayed under the Components tab on the product.
To connect
The Components tab lists all components that make up the product and that have been added to the product.
Categories can be used in the product register to distinguish and sort the various product categories. The components have category Ingredients and Wholemeal bread has category Products. The ingredients make up the sales product Wholemeal bread.
Instructions
Add components
1. Create the components by registering a new productproducts.

2. Go to the the Components tab and click Add new component to link a new component to the product.
3. Select a the product (component) to be added as a component, enter adjust the quantity if required, then click and click Save and close form.

quantity specified for each component.
Notes can be added for components. These may include information for users or other data that needs to be documented.
