1. Go to the competence module and click Register new competence.
2. Select who and what the competence relates to:
Need
If a need for competence is to be registered, select Needs and complete the fields.
Info: If a need is registered and a start date is set, this is displayed in the list with the status Planned before "specified date".
Employee, customer, supplier or contact
If a valid or planned competence is to be registered for an employee, customer, supplier or contact, select who it applies to and complete the fields in the form. Click Save.
Type
Select the competence in question. The types are configured in the control panel.
Date
From date is the date from which the competence is valid or planned. Competencies that are valid and have not expired are green in the competence list.
To date is the date on which the competence expires, where applicable. If the competence is not to be renewed, it can be archived when it expires. Check the Archive competence on expiration field. In the control panel, you can enable notification for competencies that expire. Competencies that are to be renewed but have expired are red in the competence list.
Person responsible
The person responsible for the competence receives notifications when the competence expires and is to be renewed.
Note: The person responsible will not be notified if the competence is to be archived when it expires.
