The goal is to release one day after the sprint ends.

When a sprint starts, we decide what will go into the release. During the sprint bugs may be added. This is done by setting a release label.

  1. When epic/story/bug is set to done, the fixed version field is set to the release name. This is also when the client release note for each item is added.
  2. The description is translated.
  3. Hand over to QA for testing e.g. two working days before sprint ends. TBD (Sprint ends on a Tuesday, hand over is Thursday (the week before) by the end of the day.
  4. QA is testing in https://partners.test-egzynergy.com/overview during the two days.
  5. Extract the release notes from Jira, PDF.
  6. The release note is uploaded to Partner Portal.
  7. Update "About" information with the version etc.
  8. Push to Staging
  9. Someone is testing in Staging
  10. Push to production.
  11. Information to grid companies about a new release by email with a link to PDF.
