Action Points:
- Create separate branching strategy for Dev, where PRs can be raised against the Dev branch.
- Ensure all release-related changes are merged at least 2 days prior to the release date. This will allow QA sufficient time to perform both feature and regression testing, while giving developers adequate buffer to address any defects identified during testing.
- Schedule a Dev Connect meeting before each release to review the release plan, discuss covered tasks, and ensure alignment across the team.
- We already have a Confluence page where we update the release process along with the release dates.
