To edit these settings, you must have administrator role in EG Worksense.
If the bookings contain sensitive information, the organization may want to hide the name of the person who has made the booking from other users. EG Worksense allows making bookings private in two ways:
All bookings are private
Individual internal bookings can be made private
Make all bookings private
To make all bookings private, click Administration and Bookings. Turn off Show who has made the booking and click Save.
When the setting is turned on, all users can see who has made the booking. The person's initials or profile picture are shown on the floor plan, and their name is shown when selecting and viewing a resource’s booking information. Changing the setting affects all bookings, including previously created ones.
Enable private bookings for EG Worksense users
To allow internal bookings that are managed by EG Worksenseto be made private by the users, click Administration and Bookings. Turn on Enable private booking underInternal bookings and click Save.
Enabling private bookings allows the users to select if a booking they are making is private. When a booking is private, other users will not see for whom the booking is.
Anonymization of booking data
It is possible to define how quickly past bookings will be anonymized. After the defined period, personally identifiable information will be removed from the booking.
To change the period, click Administration and Bookings. Choose the number of months from the dropdown under Anonymize past bookings after and click Save.
