The dongle has three ports:
Of the RS232 and ETH ports you only use one. Most of our customers use the RS232 and not ETH.
The cable connected to RS232 is connected directly to the PC:s com port. (ETH is used to connect the terminal to the local network. This use is uncommon.)
At ÖoB, the cable must be connected in 'RS232 (on the left in picture), NOT '''ETH!: If it is incorrectly in ETH, the terminal will e.g. to say "waiting for ECR" connection after boot.
This is how you can secure the cords so that they don't slide out of the dongle as easily.
Especially the power cord as it does not have a locking mechanism that RJ45 has.
