Causes of damage are used in connection with the event log and registered shutdowns. Reports can be generated from the event log: ‘Incidents by causes’ and ‘Top 10 - Shutdown allocated to causes’. 

Causes of damage are registered with a freely selected number, a descriptive name and possibly connected to a stop type.
