If you purchase new PCs to run ASPECT4, the following must be met:

Minimum requirements:

• CPU: Intel i5 7th Generation¹
• 8Gb RAM
• 20 GB free hard drive space
• Dedicated graphics card from ATI or Nvidia with a minimum of 512MB, alternatively an integrated Intel HD4000
• Network card
• Screen size laptop minimum 13" ²
• Screen size desktop minimum 19" ²

1. It is recommended that the CPU is from Intel, but if it is from another manufacturer, the minimum performance must be equivalent to Intel i5 7th Generation. Several machines are supplied with integrated graphics. Intel HD Graphics 4000 is the smallest integrated graphics card EG recommends.
2. Graphics card: ASPECT4 will run faster with a powerful graphics card, especially with the newest ones from Nvidia or ATI.
3. We recommend a screen size for laptops of 15" and desktops of 22" with a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080.

Note that if other programs than ASPET4 are run on the PC, the requirements will increase. PCs can be ordered at EG's Webshop: shop.eg.dk

Regular - ASPECT4 users:
The above minimum requirements apply to users who work with traditional applications. This type of user has a maximum of 1-2 open environments/companies simultaneously with a maximum of 3 open applications in each.

Heavy - ASPECT4 users:
Heavy ASPECT4 users place greater demands on the PC. The definition of a heavy ASPECt4 user is that he/she, for example, works in more than 2 open environments/companies (simultaneously), has many open applications and/or works with large amounts of data and/or serveral heavy programs. 

A heavy ASPECT4 user must have more powerful components to achieve better performance. See the point below.

Achieve better performance

For the demanding ASPECT4 user, who for example works with large amounts of data, many open applications, serveral open environments and/or several simultaneous heavy programs, it is possible to improve performe by choosing more powerful components. The following influences the performance of ASPECT4. 

• CPU: A more powerful CPU such as i7 provides significantly faster execution.
• RAM: will provide more free resources. REMEMBER that over 4GB it must be a 64 bit operating system.
• Graphics card: ASPECT4 will run faster with a powerful graphics card, especially the newest one from Nvidia or ATI. The effect is particularly noticeable at high screen resolutions.
