When setting up the SonWIn environment at a customer site, it may be useful to be able of checking if the environment has the correct configuration for reaching the WCF service that the SonWIn server is supposed to communicate to.

To do this, one can use the program EUG.PartnerPortal.PingDemo.

How to

After starting the program, the following window will appear:

1. In the drop down menu, select the environment that you would like to test a connection to. (The program will only invoke the ping method of the endpoint interface, leaving no data in the environment)
2. Hit the button labelled 'PING' to get a reply from the WCF Service at PartnerPortal.

If the communication was successful, the reply will look somewhat like this:
