This page is regarding troubleshooting problems with the communication comming FROM the client (Usually SonWin) TO the Partner Portal.

502 - Bad Gateway/The HTTP request was forbidden...

Problem:

When trying to communicate from SonWin to PartnerPortal, the system produces the following error:

• 502 – Bad Gateway
• The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme basic

Problem

When the client (SonWin) sends a message to Partner Portal, it is send to the WCF service (FacilityTaskExchangeApi). One of the error messages above usually means that the client was not able of contacting the service.

Solution

1 – Check that the service is started:

1. Go to Azure on the environment that you are trying to connect to
2. Open the Overview of the FacilityTaskExchangeApi
3. If the button [Start] is available, then the service is NOT started
4. Push the button
5. Problem should now be solved
