An other rental product is a freer concept in Lease rental management, and its use cases vary. An other rental product can be modelled either as area-based or piece-based, which is why the menu has separate views for both: Other rental products (area) and Other rental products (pcs).
Open Rental premises → Other rental products (area) or Other rental products (pcs).
Typical use cases are, for example, equipment located in a building, or the area around an object that is not worth modelling and maintaining on the floor plan level but that you still want as part of the rental management portfolio — either directly for renting or at least for reporting purposes.
Functionally an other rental product works in the same way as the other rental premise types, but its data content is somewhat lighter.
