The entire dongle including its cord

The dongle

The dongle has three ports:

A power port marked with a lightning bolt.
Two RJ45 ports; one labeled RS232, and one labeled ETH

Most of our customers use the RS232 and not ETH.
The cable connected to RS232 is connected directly to the PC:s com port.
At ÖoB, the cable must be connected in 'RS232 (on the left in picture), NOT '''ETH!:

If it is incorrectly in ETH, the terminal will e.g. to say "waiting for ECR" connection after boot.

Securing the cables

This is how you can secure the cords so that they don't slide out of the dongle as easily.

Especially the power cord as it does not have a locking mechanism that RJ45 has.

How to safely break the connection between the dongle and the pay terminal, 20 centimeters from the terminal.
