Highlights

  • Tap to Pay on iPhone is now available to every salon in Finland. Salons can take card payments directly on an iPhone, with no separate card terminal. The beta period is over, so this is live for everyone. TIM-1344 TIM-1329

  • Partial refunds are available to all salons. A salon can refund part of a payment instead of having to cancel and redo the whole thing. TIM-1317

Changes your customers will notice

These affect features salons are already using, so the difference is visible from this week.

  • The remaining customers have been moved onto series cards, so every salon is now on the same system. TIM-809

  • 10:00 is now available as a calendar start time. TIM-1334

  • A business name is now required in Timma Pro once a business ID has been set, which stops incomplete invoices going out. TIM-1321

  • Online booking was rejecting valid email addresses that contained capital letters. Fixed. TIM-1320

  • Online booking crashed for customers who had Chrome's page translation switched on. Fixed. TIM-1340

  • Russian service names were missing from the service templates. Added. TIM-875

  • An invoice could be marked as paid more than once. Fixed. TIM-1341

  • The responsible account manager is now named in emails we send out, where we know who it is. TIM-1294

  • Marketing site fixes, plus a second round of speed and search-visibility work. TIM-1318 TIM-1333

Nothing here changes anything for a salon this week. It is either groundwork on a feature that has not launched, or internal work.

Features not yet released

  • New gift card shop — an Online booking button in its menu, custom amounts on by default, and settings hidden from salons without Adyen. TIM-1299 TIM-1301 TIM-1297

  • Kletta accounting integration — the bulk of the run-up to launch, which happened the following week: invoice details shown in Pro, paid and refunded invoices posted separately, billing lifecycle, manual billing for pilot salons, translated charge names, and an Intercom announcement.   • Blocking clients — blocked clients can no longer book through Marketplace. TIM-1288

  • A lower Timma Pay commission rate set up for one customer. TIM-1335

  • Security hardening in the AI Assistant's calculation tool. TIM-1336

  • Made the SMS sender name tests reliable. TIM-1339

  • Fixed a package compatibility problem in Easyupdate. TIM-1322

Closed without being built

Listed so the omission is visible rather than silent: TIM-1313 and TIM-1314 (a Tap to Pay warning message, replaced by a better version in week 35), and TIM-1251 (superseded by TIM-1288 above).
