In most modules, it is possible to edit metadata for multiple records simultaneously. This page shows an example of how this can be done in the nonconformity module, but the principle is the same throughout the system.
Note: What can be multi-edited varies from module to module. Plain text fields cannot normally be multi-edited.
The system's field name is displayed when multi-editing, so if you have defined separate field names, they may look different during multi-editing.
1. Select the records to be edited and click Edit.
2. To unlock a field for editing, check the box to the left of the field. Edit the information and click Save and close form.
