Highlights

  • Tap to Pay is now released in Sweden. Salons in Sweden can take card payments by tapping on an iPhone, as in Finland and Norway. TIM-1617

  • The gift card shop link now sits on the Company page. It appears below the Online booking and Marketplace links when the salon has a gift card shop, and the old "Setting up Online gift card shop" link is gone from the Timma Pay panel. TIM-1561

  • Line breaks in salon texts now show as paragraphs in online booking. This covers location info, reservation text, cancellation terms, price info, service descriptions and notes to customers. TIM-1531

These affect features salons are already using, so the difference is visible from this week.

  • The PCI banner no longer has country or customer restrictions. TIM-1618

  • The PCI banner is now shown in Norway. TIM-1569

  • The Timma Pro signup form has a country selector, defaulting to the country of the site's domain. TIM-1581

  • The gift card shop now shows the salon's refund policy instead of its booking cancellation terms, with a "Go back to gift card shop" button. TIM-1558

  • "Pay by link" is now called "Timma Pay payment link". TIM-1556

  • The pay-by-link page description was always in Finnish. It now uses the customer's language. Fixed. TIM-1514

  • "Hide from online booking" can no longer be unticked while a user is hidden from the calendar. The box is locked on, matching how it already behaved. TIM-1543

  • When adding a user, an eye icon in the password field lets you check what you typed. TIM-1544

  • The Company page panels are reorganised, with Tracking & analytics moved to the bottom. TIM-1532

  • The copyright year in the online booking menu footer was out of date. It now always shows the current year. TIM-1568

  • A product's bar code could not be reused after the product was deleted. Fixed. TIM-1579

  • Saving settings failed with an error when the stored slot duration no longer matched the interval. Fixed. TIM-1589

Nothing here changes anything for a salon this week. It is either groundwork on a feature that has not launched, or internal work.

  • Online booking emails — salon emails now use the email type styles (no web fonts), and the shared design system was updated to match. TIM-1567, TIM-1597, TIM-1600

  • PowerOffice GO (Norway) — the PowerOffice integration was refactored. TIM-1516

Internal and commercial

  • Server crash and infinite loop on invalid date input fixed. TIM-1598, TIM-1599

  • Some billing functionality broken by a refactor was repaired. TIM-1624

  • Dev environment access challenge moved to the backend. TIM-1559

  • Payment split type moved to the new setup for all transactions. TIM-1562

  • GA4 session ids are now sent to online booking. TIM-1582
