Instructions

1. Go to the Department overview and click Create a new department.


Info: This page displays a list of existing main departments and sub-departments, and who is responsible for each department. Click the grey arrows to hide and show the sub-departments. The number in grey behind the department name is the department's number.


2. Enter a name and responsible for the department, and edit the number if you wish. To create a sub-department, select its parent department in the Parent field. If the department has its own contact information or logo, select Yes in the Use own contact information field and enter the information. Click Save when you have finished.


To add an own logo and/or icon for a department, click Choose file followed by Upload. If both an icon and a logo have been uploaded for a department, the icon is displayed in the left corner for employees with the department as their main department and logo is merged on documents.


Tip: If the default non-conformance responsible and processor is to be used, the department field should not be empty as standard. This is an option on the control panel. If No is checked, the department is retrieved automatically from the department of the user who is registering the non-conformance.
