Product Management manage their ideas in the kanban board EGU PM Ideas. An idea is created as an EPIC and the 'Parent Link' is set to the Business Project 'PM Ideas' in the current Jira Project. General ideas is created in the Jira Project 'EGU Common'
The Kanban board contains two swinlains: 'Prioritezed' and 'Anything else'.
When PM is starting to work on an idea it is moved to 'Priotitized' by setting Priotity on the EPIC to anyting else but 'Not prioritized' and a Project Manager is assigned to the idea.
The idea goes though these states:
- ToDo
- Ready
- In Progress
- Ready for review
- Done
When it is decided that an Idea is to be developed a new issue with the type Business Type is created and it is put into the EGU PM Roadmap. Read more on this Confluence page Roadmap to read about how the 'EGU PM Roadmap' is working
