General | Showing the search for receipt menu (RTP-25644) When cashier selects 'Receipt' from the search menu on the left in sales view and press 'OK' button or 'Enter' on keyboard POS will now open the search menu for where the cashier can select what type of receipts to search for. Previously the search menu was not displayed when OK/Enter was pressed. Merging on-hold receipts from InStore App to ongoing sales in POS (RTP-22091) Merging of on-hold receipts from InStore App to ongoing sales in POS should now work as intended. Previously receipts containing bundle items would sometimes fail to merge causing an exception in POS. |
| Item search | Item sold from blank search view (RTP-24925) When performing an item search and then clicking back so the search results are cleared, an item is no longer sold when using enter button in this view:

Loyalty | Improved member search from main view (RTP-24825) When doing a member search from Sale's view, and no member is found according to parameter 'MemberIdentifiersRegEx', a "Member not found" dialogue, including an option to create new member, will be shown to cashier, but only if parameter 'SuggestNewMemberWhenScanningUnknownIdentifier' is activated. When deactivated (default), only a mesage saying the member couldn't be found is presented. If parameter 'MemberCardEAN29Codes' is activated neither 'MemberIdentifiersRegEx' nor 'SuggestNewMemberWhenScanningUnknownIdentifier' has effect, and if no member found in loyalty database only a message saying the member couldn't be found is presented. Important information regarding upgrade! For any store /Chain that uses integration with loyalty (Bridge, Voyado etc.) AND wants cashier to be able to create new member in POS there and then, IF member search results in "unknown member" message: Existing parameter SuggestNewMemberWhenScanningUnknownIdentifier must now be activated (True) to trigger dialogue with option to create new member! If not, only message saying "unknown member" is shown. Previously this functionality may have been working even if the parameter was set to False, but not from now on! |
Order | Service cost adjustment percentage (RTP-24752) User can enter percentage to adjust how much a customer should pay for a service cost.
Dispatch orders which have been fulfilled or picked are not shown in POS anymore. |
Retain24 | Showing unrounded amount as suggested for Retain24 gift card payment ( RTP-23711) When paying with gift card type "Retain24" the suggested amount in payment view, with which the gift card will be charged, is now shown unrounded. This will make it less likely that a small amount will remain to be paid afterwards. Previously, a POS where Cash tender is disabled could make it more tricky for cashier to finish the receipt with the small remaining amount, since Cash button is was not available. |
Self-service | Reduced timeout for surveillance messages (RTP-25046) Timeout for sending surveillance message via cloud is reduced from 20 seconds to 3 seconds. This will make messages being delayed far less time if e.g. there are internal problems in Azure. Shorter delays will better secure (manual) controls are triggered. In addition, SocketExceptions will now be logged as a warnings. Aborted Aera pay terminal transactions due to inactivity (RTP-24852) If a started transaction with Aera pay terminal solution times out (configurable) due to customer's inactivity, the transaction is now completely aborted, making customer able to try again, or pay otherwise. Previously an incorrect message saying customer's signature was needed was shown in similar situation. Surveillance service version 1.3.1 implemented (RTP-25636) Latest version 1.3.1 of Surveillance service is implemented in EG POS. |
Voyado integration | Changing consent to Voyado member terms from POS for existing member (RTP-24956) Cashiers will now be able to change the consent to Voyado member terms from the edit member view for existing members. Previously the consent could only be set when a new member was created in POS and not for existing members. |
