Location groups can be used e.g. to bring together all the locations that exist in a specific set of shelves. E.g. use 01 for shelf set no. 1, 02 for shelf set no. 2, etc. When the location is created, it can be linked to a specific location group (set of shelves). This will allow all the locations/articles in a specific set of shelves in the inventory to be retrieved, and a stocktake is performed on this set of shelves only.
Location groups are created with only a name/prefix etc.
Note: If you have not used location groups, and want to use this, you can link these to the locations via the mass update function for locations, or do it via update import of locations. If necessary, please contact us for assistance.
