New mixtype 44 in integration with Chain Classic

(RTP-3487)

We have implemented support for mix 44 from Chain Classic. The mix gives a percent discount on all items with normal price, campaign price or member price (if the mix discount is better).

The new mix is a good alternative to subtotal discounts if the retailer wants to avoid discount on discount.

Mix 44 will never trigger on items with other discount types like other mixmatches or manual line disounts.

The new mix will not be included in mixmatch grouping on the customer receipt. If will be printed like a line discount.

Chain Classic version 2.1.1 patch 15 is required to use the new mixtype.

Compact discount layout on receipts

(RTP-3804)

We have made the following changes to the discount presentation on receipts:

  • Inclusion of all discounts in the discount summary (previously coupon discounts could not be included in the sum)

  • Compact presentation of discounts on item lines by showing only the percent value behind the item name

The changes can be enabled through configuration.

PrinterConfig\Inline Article Discounts

Prints percent discount behind the item name. Removes the extra line that shows discount details.

Using this requires that the POS Printer is configured to print small text and a high number of letters per row. If not, there might not be enough space to add the discount percent behind the item text. Printing full item text in combination with this parameter is not recommended as full item text could in theory be 50 letters.


PrinterConfig\Discount Summary Line

New option "All discounts incl. subtotal and coupon discounts"

Includes all discounts in the discount sum line on the receipt. Previously coupon discounts could not be included.

Chain Web Version: 2.10.10 is required to be able to configure this. 

Improved currency payback for border stores

(RTP-3868)

Cash payback can be configured to automatically use the foreign currency if only 1 currency is used as payment.

When multiple currencies are used, the cashier will select the appropriate cashback currency from a dialog.

This makes the solution faster and easier to use for border stores.


POS Configuration

New parameter

CurrencyPaybackInPaidCurrencies, default False.

If set to true, the dialog to select currency for payback is not shown when only 1 currency was used for payment. Then the payback will automatically be done in the paid currency.

Project number and name on printed receipt

Project number and name was added to order confirmation receipts (both standard and A4 format receipts)

POS Import

Import cashier email from new Email field in export (RTP-4009)

AD_username is imported from the Email property in the cashier export from Chain Web. Previously it was imported from Username property. The email is only filled in the AD_username column when cashier is attached to the Active Directory user. This will be used by Mobile POS.
