This article describes how to add a non-bookable workstation to a floor plan.

If you have workstation bookings feature enabled, but you would like to have some of your workstations as non-bookable, continue reading these instructions.

When workstation booking feature is enabled, all capacity objects that have ‘Workstation’ as the ‘Reporting type’ and have been marked as Bookable in the floor plan will be bookable . So you need to add a new capacity object type that does not have any reporting typethrough Worksense.

1. Log in to Optimaze Portal
   

2. Go to 'Space'module
   

3. Go to 'Capacity object types' from the top navigation bar
   Click ‘Add capacity object type’ in the bottom of the list
   
   

4. Give a name and a code to the Capacity object type, e.g. ‘Workstation non bookable’.

   Leave the ‘Reporting type’ empty

   Check that you have a capacity object type that has as ‘Reporting type’ ‘Workstation’. You can only change a reporting type for capacity object main type, not its

   subtypes.

5. Add a time delay if you have sensors

6. Remember to click save.

If you want to add subtypes, click ‘Add capacity object subtype’.

7. Next you can add capacity objects to the floor plan/s or edit existing capacity objects in the floor plan/s.
