Excel importation is used for importing whole data sets into Lease from Excel files: Parties, Rental premises, Contracts and contract items and Invoices. The view is available when Excel importation is allowed in the company settings.
Opening the view
Open Administration → Updating the details from Excel → Excel importation.
The Excel importation view
Each data set has its own section with two buttons: Download an example Excel file gives you a file in the correct format, and Select Excel file uploads your filled-in file.
With the Check Excel file option the file is only validated and nothing is saved; with Import all data the contents are imported. It is recommended to check the file first.
The section Removing imported data at the bottom of the view is used for removing data brought in by an earlier import.
