Instructions

Boxes can be copied in within a flowchart and between processes. The Cut function is used to move boxes or entire flowcharts between processesflowchart or from one flowchart to another. Boxes can also be moved from one flowchart to another.

Copy

1. To copy a box:1. Highlight , highlight the box by clicking it , then click and click Copy.

2. To copy a box to within the same flowchart, click Paste.To  To copy a box to a different another flowchart, select the target flowchart to which in the boxes are to be copied in the Select Go to another process field , then and click Paste.

3. Click Paste. The number after the Flowchart box field indicates the number of boxes being copied.

Decide whether to copy the boxes with or without flowchart objects and document links and click Paste.

Tip: To copy or move

Info

Info: If a box being copied points to a subprocess, the pasted box will not be linked with the same subprocess. You can point to an existing process to connect to a subprocess.

To copy multiple boxes simultaneously, highlight the boxes and click Copy or Cut.

Cut

1. To move one or more boxes between flowcharts:1. Highlight the box by clicking it, then multiple boxes from one flowchart to another, highlight the boxes by clicking on them and click Cut.

2. Select the flowchart to which the boxes are to be moved in the Select Go to another process field , then and click Paste.
