What are building blocks

Building blocks are space information that you can add to your floor plans to enrich your occupancy or booking data. Building blocks are mainly used for buildings that have separate blocks such as A, B and C blocks.

Building blocks are managed in EG Optimaze Moment application.

How to add building blocks to a building

Building blocks are building specific and you need to add building blocks to each building individually.

1. Log in to Log in to EG Optimaze
2. Navigate to Optimaze Moment application
3. Click Management and Object management
4. Select Real estate hierarchy from the drop-down list
5. Select the chosen corporate group and from the hierarchy a building where you want to add the building blocks in the hierarchy
6. Click + Add Building block at the bottom
7. Add name and other details
8. Click Save
9. If you want to add multiple building blocks for a same building, go back to the building and click Add building blockblock again
