Adjust stock +/-: Adjusting stock using plus or minus. Remember that you can create stocktakes to adjust stocks via counting in the inventory. For details, see separate description regarding stocktakes.
Note: When transactions of the type 'Deposit' or 'Adjustment +/-' are run on fixed stock catalogs, the system will automatically set location processing to 'Floating' to avoid problems with adding an item to a new location when counting, receiving etc.
After the transaction has been run, the location processing in the inventory directory changes back to ‘Fast’. If the item after the transaction is left with two locations in the inventory table, the stock catalog will be left with 'Floating' location processing.
Move: Moving the entire stock or parts of it to another inventory. Indicate To inventory and Storage location. If the entire stock is to be moved, and you would like to delete the old inventory directory, check off for ‘Delete inventory directory’. If the article is connected to work orders, the inventory and location of the article will also be updated if it has not already been picked from the inventory.
