Budget template increases
It is possible to make increases per type of cost in the budget template. Account increases are made in Eco section under Finance – Budget/forecast template – Account increases tab. With an account increase, you can increase all costs of a certain account type at once by a certain percentage.
Account increases are done as follows:
1) Click on Budget/forecast template.
2) Click on Account increases.
3) From the pull-down menu, select the account type for which you wish to add the increase.
4) Determine the increase percentage and enter description in the Notice field
5) When determining account increases, please always ensure that the correct budget has been selected in the upper right corner.
Filtering function will not work with account increases, as all costs belonging to the selected account type will be increased. If you want to increase only some costs belonging to the account types, please follow the instructions in section 2.2.2 Entering budgeting figures to the budget template.
Note!
---
When account increases are deleted, the original value of the account in question will be returned for each site. If you have separately budgeted costs to the same account for the sites, these will not be saved. Consider in detail what you want to increase, before making any account increases. The recommended practice is to make the account increases first, and then to examine their influences in budget template. When the account increases are as required, you can start editing other site-specific budget figures. If, however, you must change the account increase and maintain already entered budget figures, you should run the budget made and create a new budget template based on its figures. Then, you can make the account increases into that budget template, so that you first delete the incorrect one and then create another. In this case, please contact Rapal’s financial support.
