Notes can be linked to a document or a version of a document. Notes linked to the document follow the document throughout the lifespan, while notes created for a version apply only to the one version.

You can add a new note by clicking Create new under Notes linked to the document or Notes linked to this version of the document.

Info: Comments created in connection with reviewing or approval of the document will be included as notes linked to the approved version or the version for which the review has been completed.


Notes linked to this version of the document on the document form display notes linked to the current version of the document.


To view notes linked to other versions of the document, click the Versions tab and  to open the form for the version.


Notes linked to the version appear on the right side of the page.
