Note: The practice for processing non-conformances varies from company to company.

Instructions

1. Go to the non-conformance list and select the non-conformance that you want to process.

2. Scroll down to Step 2: Processing and enter the root cause analysis of the non-conformance. If it is not already completed, select causes in the Cause field under Information in the form. Because the non-conformance is being processed, it has the status In process.

Tip: If the non-conformance has an economic consequence for the company, it can be entered on the form. It is possible to create reports on financial consequences to get an overview of how much non-conformances costs the company within specified periods.

3. What corrective measures are to be implemented or have been implemented can be described in two ways.

a) It can be written directly in the field in the non-conformance form.

b) Or a task can be created that describes the corrective measures. Go to the Task tab to create a new task.

When corrective measures have been implemented, change the status to To closing and click Save. If the non-conformance can be closed immediately, change the status to Closed and click Save.

Tip: If tasks are to be used in connection with corrective measures, you can use a separate task type for corrective measures on non-conformances. By using a separate task type for corrective measures, it is easier to sort out tasks for measures in the task module and on dashboards.
