EG POS 4.0.0.126 includes all features and improvements in 3.0.0.12601, plus the changes documented below.

The version requirements are also the same as for 3.0.0.12601.

Support shifts when counting per cash register

(RTP-4895)

So far drawer balance has been registered and validated per date and either per register/workstation, cashier or store. New parameter has been created to support shifts when counting per cash register. 

Note: The BalancePeriod can never be released as a hotfix, it requires a specific backoffice version before it can be configured. Changes are merged to the Backoffice develop branch and will be released in CW 2.10.40

POS Configuration

New parameter

BalancePeriod

Defines the balance period type. Parameter can be set to "Date" (default) or "Shift".


Existing relevant parameters:  

BalanceTransactionType 

Can currently be set to Cashier, Workstation or Store. When BalancePeriod is "Shift", counting will always be done per cash register.

Text in Cash Settlement (RTP-11914)

Last text line in dialog displayed after completing balance registration in POS has been corrected to "Sent bank". Previously last two texts lines were incorrectly the same, because of sharing the same localization.

Convenience sales

Scanning item while in Convenience sales (RTP-11798)

Scanning item results in adding article properly to receipt.


Scanning receipts (RTP-11565)

When a receipt is scanned while in Convenience sales, POS goes to the regular sale screen and shows the finished receipt.


View of units of measure (RTP-11833)

In Convenience sales units of measure are properly displayed.


Receipt summary (RTP-4110)

Receipt summary in Convenience sales has been improved.


Convenience sales - styling for buttons (RTP-4535)

Styling for buttons and pressed state have been improved.


Sublevels in Convenience sales (RTP-4108)

Handling of sublevel item type was implemented. The style of this type of item was adjusted and conversion of all names on sublevel buttons to format: "SUBLEVEL" (all letters uppercase) was added.  

POS Configuration user interface (Chain Web) part will be improved yet.


Item buttons changing their position (RTP-12071)

Item buttons do not change their positions in a tab during the first sale now.


UX improvement for Convenience sales (RTP-11723)

The appearance of Convenience sales was improved: colours were slightly changed, the font of title texts and prices on the buttons were unified; strokes were added to buttons and the gaps between buttons were reduced. Moreover, when there are more than 4 buttons horizontally, then the size of text font on the buttons is reduced. Conversion of all item names on buttons to format: Item name (first letter uppercase, rest lowercase) was also implemented, unless it is not desired (then it is needed to put the title text in quotation marks while creating buttons in Chain Web).

"English text" on menu buttons (RTP-11379)

The field for "English text" has been added to menu buttons in ButtonConfig parameter.

Receipt

Deleted item in receipt correction (RTP-4507)

When function to correct receipt is used then deleted item is shown correctly as deleted.

User interface

Minor changes in header (RTP-3749)

Changes to reduce weight by changing font size has been implemented.


Missing item information (RTP-11636)

All item information is correctly shown in details view when searching item for the first time. 

  • No labels
