Overview

Sensor monitoring requires the Occupancy info -feature and occupancy sensors to be installed in the spaces and desks that you would like to monitor. To access reports, the user must have access to EG Optimaze Panorama application. 

The sensor monitoring dashboard visualizes the sensor monitoring data gathered by Occupancy sensors. In the sensor monitoring dashboard, you can see a list of all sensors installed to your buildings and floor and see their battery and offline/online status. This article shows all the metrics you have access to.

Visit EG Optimaze Panorama to access sensor monitoring.

  1. Go to panorama.optimaze.net
  2. Click Custom reports
  3. Click Choose report
  4. Choose Sensor monitoring

The dashboard is divided to multiple views that you can access from the bottom of the page:

  • Buildings - overview of sensor status in each building
  • Selected building - drill through of a selected building
  • Devices - all individual sensors and their status in all of your buildings and floor

Device battery status explained

  • Unknown - there is no battery status collected
  • Good means - the battery status is good
  • Replace soon - the battery level is between 2.7-2.4 V and you should make a plan to change batteries to these devices.
  • Replace now - the battery level is below 2.4 V. The battery should be changed as soon as possible.

Offline status explained

  • Offline - the sensor is offline and not sending any data.

Buildings view

View your whole building portfolio at a glance. By default, the Portfolio view shows occupancy for the last 30 days.

How to drill through to a selected building

To drill through to a specific building:

  1. Right mouse click a building name
  2. Click Drill through and Selected building
  3. You will be taken to the Selected building view

View individual sensors and status on a selected building. To choose another building use the arrow no top left corner to go back to Buildings view and drill through to another building.

The sensor table lists device's activation date, device id, device type, building name, floor, space id, battery status, voltage and offline date.

Use the battery status filters (Unknown, good, replace soon, replace now) to filter out the devices you want.

Devices view

View all devices and their detailed status in all of your buildings and floors. You can use building, floor and building id filters to view the devices.
