When creating a new checkpoint, it may be a good idea to search for or be in the asset to which the checkpoint will be linked, which saves you looking up the asset in the checkpoint card.

Shutdown required: Used when shutdown is required in order to execute the checkpoint. Filter options are available.

Critical point: If critical point is checked off (point that requires special attention), this is indicated with a red exclamation mark in the checklist. Filter options are available in the checklist and in the history.

No.: This number will be generated automatically when the desired asset has been selected. By default, the asset number suggested includes the next available number (from 01 to 99) including a full stop as a separator.

Name: Descriptive name of/for the checkpoint.

Asset: The asset to which the checkpoint is connected.

Type: You can select between Control, Measuring, Lubrication and Calibration.

  • Control: Shows a single control point.

  • Measuring: Used to register readings with specific devices. Lower and upper alarm limits can be inserted, as well as a trend limit (+-% of the previous reading). Measurements can subsequently generate a graph. This type is also used if you want a checkpoint to read e.g. hour readings on an asset. If so, select ‘Hours’ in the field ‘Meter [Asset]’. A message will automatically be sent to the person responsible for the inspection round for value outside the lower or upper alarm limit or if the read value exceeds the specified trend limit, if this is activated in the system settings.

  • Lubrication: Used for lubrication points, showing fields to look up/link e.g. lubricant/oil (from the article register). When performing lubrication checkpoints, also provides the option of indicating consumption volume, automatically drawing from inventory when the checklist is approved. This is provided that the selected unit (e.g. litre) on the checkpoint is the same as the unit on the selected article’s article card. Note that stock withdrawals will be carried out here regardless of whether the system setting 'Reduce stock (WO/Checklists)' is activated or not.

  • Calibration: If this is selected, lower and upper alarm limits can also be indicated, and also provides fields for indicating ‘Read’ and ‘Calibrated’ values when the checkpoint is performed. (Alarm limits apply to 'Calibrated' value). A message will automatically be sent to the person responsible for the round if the value is outside the limit values.

Category: Checkpoint category. Useful for filtering/performing the checkpoints. Categories are created via the menu ‘System’ → ‘Work Orders/Checklists’ → ‘Checkpoint Category’.

Profession: The checkpoint’s profession. Useful for filtering/performing the checkpoints.

Work description: Predefined description of the work that is to be performed can be obtained here.

Checklist: The checklist to which the checkpoint is to be linked or be included on.

From/To: From/To date or e.g. From To hours. The checkpoint changes from green to yellow light bulb when From is reached, and changes from yellow to red light bulb after To.

Frequency: How often the checkpoints are to be performed, number of days or e.g. by hour.

Fixed frequency: Will use From Date to calculate next due date.

Date / Weekdays: If Weekdays is selected, the due date can be managed with respect to recurring jobs due on one or more specified weekday(s), etc.

Previously Executed: For info, date of the last time the checkpoint was performed can be inserted here.

Estimated Working Hours: Estimated working hours it will take to perform the checkpoint.

Quantity: E.g. number that indicates the number of lubrication nipples involved in the checkpoint/lubrication point.

Utilities: Info about e.g. special tools that must be used.

Description: Detailed description of what must be done. Rich text editor (HTML) is available. If this is activated, you can insert links, images (can also be pasted in via the clipboard), video links, tables, formatted text, etc.

Picture: 3 pcs. pictures can be linked/connected to the check point. Only picture no. 1 can be downloaded/opened from the round list itself. If you want to see all three pictures, you have to go to the check point itself.

Also note that in editing mode and in display mode for the round point, documents can also be attached to the round point.

Note that via the mobile layout the pictures can also be uploaded/connected. This will make the job easier. Also note that via the mass update function, images can be copied onto marked checkpoints. Enter the image name. The picture name is in the tooltip on all pictures. Alternatively, the image name can be found/copied by clicking the delete button for the image. Then remember to click Cancel so that the image is not deleted.
