You must have an EG Optimaze account to use the EG Inventory app.

Indoor air quality (IAQ) sensors are added directly via the EG Inventory app without first creating capacity objects for the sensors in the Optimaze Space, as is done with all other sensors.

To avoid sensors from appearing or disappearing incorrectly, ensure that there no future revisions of the floor plan before you add, move, or remove sensors.


Adding indoor air quality sensor

To add an indoor air sensor to any location in a floor plan:

  1. Tap the + Add button on the bottom left corner

  2. Tap the floor plan where you want to add the sensor

  3. Scan the QR code on the sensor device you want to add. Alternatively, tap Enter code and type the sensor ID manually.

  4. The added sensor will be shown on the floor plan as a circle with a thin border



Moving indoor air quality sensor

  1. Tap the sensor you want to move on the floor plan.

  2. Tap Move in the selection pane

  3. Tap the  floor plan where you want to move the sensor to

    • You can tap the floor plan multiple times

    • You can zoom the floor plan in and out to find a better location for the sensor

  4. When the sensor is at the wanted location, tap Done

  5. Close the selection pane by tapping outside it



Deleting indoor air quality sensor

  1. Tap the circle where the sensor is on the floor plan

  2. Press the sensor ID a few seconds and tap Remove in the confirmation message 

  3. The sensor will be deleted from the floor plan
