Indoor air quality sensors can measure humidity, temperature, CO₂ and VOC. EG Worksense web and mobile apps shows readings from individual sensors and floor level average values only in EG Worksense web app.
Connected AirWits
Connected AirWits is an indoor air sensor solution that contains devices for different use cases.
Network & Coverage
The devices use Sigfox 0g network, read more about it here.
Check the connectivity of Sigfox network in your location from these websites:
Globally via: https://www.sigfox.com/en/coverage
In Finland via: https://coverage.iniot.fi/
Installation steps: Connected AirWits
- Switch the device on sliding the power switch to position “1”
- Scan the QR code or enter the sensor ID manually with EG Inventory app
- Install the wall plate to the wall using screws or double-sided tape suitable for the wall material. Please note the orientation.
- Avoid placing device closer than 15cm on any metal or magnetic object, electric cables, electric devices or selective glass as this will dramatically reduce radio performance as well as battery life of the device.
- Attach the device to the wall having the pins meeting installation holes in the device. Please note the orientation!
Installation tips
Place the device in a central location to approx. 1.2m – 1.8m height
Avoid placing the sensor to close proximity of windows
Most of CO₂ indoors is produced by breathing, the device should not be placed too close to humans
Air conditioning, height & volume of the space affect the sensor device
