You can integrate EG Worksense with a 3rd party booking system to help users quickly find available meeting spaces and create an ad-hoc booking.

Currently supported 3rd party systems are Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or newer.

How it works

Worksense reads and writes the 3rd party system's booking data through APIs. Detailed information can be found under each 3rd party system in the integration section.

The table below explains what features are available on different endpoints and what information can be viewed.

Setup

  1. Set up the integration between EG Worksense and your 3rd party booking system

  2. Define bookable spaces in the EG Optimaze Space application. See instructions in Managing capacity objects in floor plans

  3. Test the integration by creating a booking, editing a booking, and cancelling a booking from the EG Worksense

Only one integration can be enabled at the time.

Once the integration is enabled, all Worksense organization users have access to the calendars you have entered into the EG Optimaze Space.
