This functionality requires Microsoft 365 or Exchange On-Prem integration to your company’s Outlook.

Meeting spaces managed by Outlook that are integrated to EG Worksense can be booked both in Outlook and EG Worksense but there are some differences how they function.

Booking through Outlook

When you book a meeting space through Outlook by adding it as a location or participant to a calendar event, it will be shown in your bookings in EG Worksense.

You can edit and delete the booking only in Outlook.

Booking through EG Worksense

You can book a meeting space and send a calendar invite to participants in EG Worksense.

  1. Choose the space, date and time you want to book as usual.
  2. In the booking form, add the Subject and enter the name (in the web app and for colleagues only) or the email address (for any other invitees) of people that you want to invite to the meeting.
  3. Click

When you book a meeting space through EG Worksense, a new room booking will be added to meeting space’s calendar in Outlook. The meeting space will then send you and other participants calendar invites via email, which will cause the booking to appear in Outlook calendars.

You can delete or modify the meeting space booking in EG Worksense by reopening it for editing.

Note that declining the meeting invite in Outlook will not release the meeting room booking.
