Location groups can be used e.g. to bring together all the locations that exist in a specific set of shelves. E.g. use 01 for shelf set no. 1, 02 for shelf set no. 2, etc. When the location is created, it can be linked to a specific location group (set of shelves). This will allow all the locations/articles in a specific set of shelves in the inventory to be retrieved, and a stocktake is performed on this set of shelves only.
Location groups are created with only a name/prefix etc.
