In these terms, you will hereinafter be referred to as the user (“User”). You are in an employment relationship with a customer (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”) of EG Finland Oy (hereinafter referred to as “Supplier”) or another organization (hereinafter referred to as “Organization”) with the right to use the EG Optimaze service. The Customer is in a contractual relationship with the Supplier, and the potential Organization has a contractual relationship with the Customer.

1. General information about EG Optimaze
The EG Optimaze service (”Service”) refers to the facility management service provided by the Supplier. The Service s an easy-to-use modular software that gathers all the customer’s real estate portfolio data on facilities and working environments in one place. The Service can be used on an online server in accordance with these terms of service. The EG Optimaze service is provided from a secure, audited server environment. The content of the Service depends on the User’s access rights and the EG Optimaze service modules used by the customer organization. The Service includes customer communications, comprising the main user communications aimed at the organization’s main users and the user communications aimed at individual users. To learn more about the content of the Service, please contact the main user of your organization.
2. Software and data connections
The Service is available as agreed with the customer, i.e. your organization.
2.1 Server environment
The data in Service is stored on servers located in an audited server room in Finland. The EG Optimaze server uses state-of-the-art server solutions. The data contained by the server are backed up for a period of six (6) months on a backup server located in a separate facility.
It is possible to specify interfaces (integrations) on a customer basis for the purpose of importing and exporting data. All integrations and migrations are always agreed upon separately with the Customer.
The customer can use the Service with a customer-specific IP restriction. Allowed IP addresses are always activated after a separate agreement with the Customer.
2.2 Support services
EG Optimaze user support is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (FI) in Finnish, Swedish and English. User support is also available via an online support portal. The contact details for user support are as follows:

3. Rights
The Supplier owns the immaterial property rights and other rights to the Service. The data content of the service is the property of the Customer.
4. Responsibility for the content
You are only allowed to use the content of the Service on the permission of the content owner, i.e. your organization. As a user of the Service, it is your responsibility to make sure that the information you enter in the software is correct and legal.
As a user of the Service, it is also your responsibility to make sure that you have the right to import data into the Service, such an architect’s permission to use floor plans.
As a user of the Service, you acknowledge and accept that you open the software and/or download data from the software outside of the EU/EEA solely at your own risk. The Supplier accepts no responsibility for any consequences resulting from using the Service outside of the EU/EEA.
5. Log-in/registration
The Customer’s main user provides the information on the users of the Service and their required rights to the Supplier. Users log in to the Service by using their personal user account. You agree to use your account carefully and not to disclose it to anyone.
The Customer also has the option to implement single sign-on (SSO), which allows logging in to the Service by using the organization’s own login service. SSO is always activated after a separate agreement with the customer. If the User is already logged in to the customer company’s own login service, there is no need to separately input a user ID and password.
By logging in to the Service, it is also possible to use subcontractor systems if the customer company uses them.

8. Changes to the terms of use
The service provider (Supplier), has the right to update these terms of use. Up-to-date terms of use are available on the Service website.
9. Other terms and conditions
It is forbidden to disclose information related to the Service, such as service descriptions, instructions, and terms of service, to third parties, particularly to the Supplier’s competitors or other operators that could be considered to be competitors. Any disclosure may result in liability for damages, and it may also be punishable by law.
