New currencies can be entered here, and updating exchange rates via Norges Bank can be done via the 'Update exchange rates' (Oppdater valutakurser) button. Note: There is also a separate system parameter 'Exchange rate' that can be activated for automatic updating of exchange rates from Norges Bank, see here 16.1.0 System Settings.
Please note: The update exchange rate button or the automatic updating of exchange rates function can not be used if you are running the Maintenance with another default currency than NOK. Then you have to update the currencies manually.
Which currency is the default currency in the system is determined here.
When creating a new currency, enter the correct currency code, a name for the currency and press 'Get exchange rate' (Hent valutakurs). The rate will now be retrieved from Norges Bank. Please note: This button can not be used if you are running the Maintenance with another default currency than NOK. Then you have to update the currencies manually. Currency is inserted with the currency code, a name, currency rate and a factor depending on how the currency rate is stated. Example for dollars (1$ = 10.45 NOK):
